The Power to Heal Yourself

Did you know you have the power to heal yourself?

I’ve been listening to a lot of interviews that feature Dr Joe Dispenza where he talks about the ability of the body to heal itself.

Absolutely mind opening, mind boggling stuff.

Stories of people using meditation and assisted body energy to transform themselves from the inside out.

The logic is fairly simple: if a person can make themselves sick by their thoughts alone, it stands to reason they can get better by their thoughts alone.

The fascinating part is that when Dr Joe is discussing the results, he says over and over, I’m not telling you this. The data is telling you this.

Fortunately he keeps copious records of what happens to the people he works with at his events.

And the results are life changing and mind blowing.

Dr Joe may be interested to know as well that there are Talmudic precepts, dating back thousands of years, that seemingly agree with a lot of what he says as well.

One that comes to mind is “shinuy makom shinuy mazel / change your place, change your luck”.

When we put ourselves into a new location, a lot of times it shocks our body and minds into writing new programs and new adaptations, and helps us from stopping and falling into the same traps and the same programs in our heads that are making us miserable in the first place.

First off, I’d love to attend one of his events – putting that out there.

Second, I’ve used float tanks before and found myself floating in a sea of healing stars, which sounds both wild and impossible until you’ve been there.

Lastly, I believe that nature has its own ability to heal, if we give ourselves time and meditative space to absorb the healing power of being in the great outdoors.

The vision of stunning water landscapes, beautiful trees, the sense of wonder that comes from vistas or from observing birds or any natural phenomena – I believe God (or a higher power of your understanding) put it there to help us harness the natural healing power available to us all.

The more we can take ourselves out of our own heads, put ourselves into a healing space, the better we are.

The more open we are to change.

The more receptive we are too wonderful things in our life.

The greater our capacity for healing, for love, for growth.
