Thoughts and musings from keynote speaker and high performance coach Ari Gunzburg.

Living with Purpose and Presence

“Skin growth…. Looks irregular….”

As I walked into the doctor’s office, I was dreading hearing things like “biopsy” or anything to suggest it might be serious.

But still, we have to take care of ourselves.

Make sure to get the healing that we need to function, if we need it.

THANK GOD the doctor took about 2 seconds to look at it, named it, explained it’s harmless, and allayed all my fears.

But things like this should give us new perspective.

What if things like this ARE an issue?

What priorities in our lives would instantly shift?

How would we show up differently in our lives if we DID get news like this?

What’s stopping us from finding the strength to reevaluate our lives BEFORE things like this happen?

This is one of many things you can work on with a performance coach.

High performance and only high performance do not a good life make (necessarily).

If we can’t make the time for the people important to us due to a busy life, or make time for ourself, what’s the true end game?

There is a difference between focusing on high performance, like being motivated and getting things done, compared to staying busy all the time to not have to be a part of your own life.

We can’t always see it for ourselves.

But if we can work with a trusted advisor – a mentor, a coach, a friend, an advisor – we can work together to address things and see where we can improve. Where we can show up to our personal lives in greater force, or be more present at work, so we can leave work at work.

If you’re looking for a coach, or your curious how a coach can help you, reach out. I offer free strategy sessions to evaluate if we’re a good fit to work together.

What’s one way that YOU show up to your own life in greater force, with greater purpose? Let us know in the comments!!
