Things get easier. And faster. And that’s not always a good thing. As time goes on technology makes things easier. And faster. Years ago when I first started working in Photoshop, making an image like this would take hours and a tremendous amount of expertise.

We are humans. We live, and learn, and make mistakes, and learn again. The thought that all of a sudden, we can jump into a whole new being, into a whole new person, contradicts this fact of our human existence. New year, new moment to work towards becoming better? Absolutely.

Today I was in the steam room cooling down (I mean warming up!) after yoga and the hot tub and got to speaking with someone there (let's call him Raz* - sounds like a good made up name, right?). The conversation started out fairly innocently as I simply said, "How are you doing?" and he said fine, and then asked me if I was going back to work today (I was there during lunch time).
